Extremely difficult to talk or visit loved ones, especially compared to other facilities. Some floors have a single phone for the entire floor to have to share, in this instance 34 residents. If you want to visit you better schedule something a day or two in advance at least since there’s a set amount of visitors for the entire building. Not that there’s generally say in where you end up but the facility in Elyria regularly had same day walk in appointments for visiting and two phones for 15 patients.

Sally and her whole team are more than capable of running this facility. Some of the older reviews might hold some truth, but the issues are definitely being sorted out in real time. You know what they say, be the change you want to see. Everyone in the building deserves some kind of reward, patients and staff included. Thank you for helping me in my time of need. It's all Love.

I was one of the youngest patients they had there...I was 19 when I went it im now 20. It was September 30-October 7th I was there. The first few nights kinda scared me a bit. I arrived at 3am so none of the other people saw me until I came out of my room the next morning. Most of the patients were kind to me for being older but than my roommate accused me of being there for attention and told me to "Grow up" I was there cause I was struggling with harmful thoughts and than got diagnosed with MDD (Major Depression Disorder) which happens to run in my family. I was put on medication to help me which was a mood stabilizer. After a few more days things started going down hill and the only people that were nice to me was a girl from the Georgia sober house, a guy that had an ankle monitor, a tall guy that was there for meds and a lady who had memory issues...I still remember all of there names and they helped me through a lot. Ms Helena who was my nurse while I was there helped me a lot and my provider Dr Sara has listened and helped me through a lot. It might be a scary place at first but they really helped me. The staff works hard regardless of the circumstances or minor inconvenience that may arise. I'm here to talk about Out patient Therapy. First of all let me give a HUGE shout out to the best therapist i ever had! Ms. Justine !! She literally changed my life in so many ways ! She was kind , soft spoken , listened without judgement, made me feel safe , heard , and loved! She touched on different topics everyday was something different! it's crazy because sometimes it was exactly what i needed to hear ! I highly recommend group therapy! It was so hard for me to leave and get discharged today . But i know if i need to come back i will be welcomed with open arms !

The folks that work at Clearvista are very kind. Any situation where you have to work with a behavioral health facility is not easy. It’s emotional for everyone involved. They were professional and responsive to the patient’s (and the patient’s family) needs as much as they could be. Thank you for doing important work.

Let me tell you about my visit to clear vista behavioral hospital. I was experiencing a stress related breakdown/panic attack due to life circumstance one night and went to the hospital where i was prescribed Haldol, the Haldol gave me a symptom called Akathisia (one of the worst things you could ever experience). On Friday night I was pink slipped due to it and ended up at clear vista. My first feeling when I got to my room was one of complete dread. You are forced to share a room with someone else. And the rooms were filled them to capacity so there was pretty much no room changes even after someone else’s roommate spent all night screaming and staring at him. There was no toilet paper even after asking 6 separate times to get some. The staff kept telling me to either ask someone else or I was told that someone already restocked it in my room (they never did). Almost every night I was there there was a man outside in the hallway screaming all night long. The staff didn’t do a thing about it. That same gentleman was in a violent altercation with another man their every single day I was there. Each time the staff didnt stop it or do anything besides try to talk to him. The prov

I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this Hell Hole. Food was disgusting and never hot. One female would just hit people and staff would just laugh. The nurses and techs were just plain lazy. Some would come in smelling like marijuana. I was relaxing on my bed one evening and my left side went limp. I asked the tech to please get the nurse around 5:30. She peeked around the corner looked up and said " you didn't have a damn stroke " and while walking out she said that she was giving report to the next nurse. Ummmm the next shift comes in at 7pm. She said that giving report was more important. It wasn't until the next day when the medical doctor came in and told them to send me to the emergency room immediately. And to the nurse that looked at me from 10 feet away and said in a nasty tone that I didn't have a stroke well you were wrong. I did have a stroke and I now have permanent damage because you have to get the clot buster within 3 hours not 20 hours. I've already contacted an Attorney. Your facility sucks
